Sonic brushing uses high-frequency vibration to disrupt plaque, including along the gumline and between teeth where a manual brush tends to skim past. The brush does the work; you guide it slowly with light pressure, without scrubbing.

Three modes — Clean for everyday use, Sensitive for tender gums or recent dental work, and White for surface stains — at up to 37,000 sonic vibrations per minute.

The timer runs a two-minute cycle with a brief pause every thirty seconds, prompting you to move to the next quadrant of your mouth. The brush switches off when the two minutes are complete.

A full charge typically lasts more than thirty days of regular use, varying with how often you brush and which mode you favour.

Connect the USB-C cable to the magnetic charging base, plug the other end into a standard USB adapter, and stand the brush upright on the base. The light stays on while charging and switches off once the brush is full. A red indicator on the handle tells you when it is time to recharge.

Yes. The handle carries an IPX7 rating, which covers everyday bathroom conditions — brushing in the shower, rinsing under the tap, and the inevitable splash.

Because the head is the part you replace, and we would rather it came from a plant than a barrel of oil.

The head body is moulded from a PLA-based bioplastic, and the bristles are a bio-based filament made from castor oil. The tufts are anchored with a copper staple, so no adhesives are needed anywhere in the head.

Every order of replacement heads arrives with a compostable hygiene pouch and a prepaid return envelope. Put your used heads in the pouch, seal the envelope and post it back. We collect what comes in, sanitise it and process it into material for new bathroom accessories. Just tick the box on the product page to indicate you would like the return envelope included.

The heads require industrial composting to break down properly, and we would rather manage that end-of-life ourselves than leave it to chance in a home compost bin. The Loop covers brush heads; a handle at the end of its life should go to council e-waste.

Medium is the balance that suits most people: firm enough to lift plaque effectively, forgiving enough to use twice a day without irritating the gums. If your gums are sensitive, pair the medium head with Sensitive mode and a light touch.

Children from around twelve years of age can generally use a Bepulo comfortably. For younger children we would suggest adult supervision, and a word with your dentist about what suits their stage.

Yes, with Sensitive mode and a light hand. It will help lift food and surface marks from the denture surface. Denture materials vary, so please follow the care advice that came with your dentures, or check with your dental professional if you are unsure.

The case is made for the Bepulo Sonic Electric Toothbrush, and it does two jobs at once when plugged in: it charges the handle while running a UVC disinfection cycle, so you can leave the charging base at home. Away from power, the case’s internal battery runs the UVC function only and will not charge the toothbrush.

Every Bepulo Sonic Electric Toothbrush carries a twelve-month warranty from the date of delivery, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If something isn’t working as it should, email hello@bepulo.com with your order number and a short video of the fault — in most cases that is all we need to send a replacement.
